Nyack, NY- The men's baseball program has announced its first set of signings for the upcoming 2011 season.  Joining the Warriors this fall will be Cole Tobin (Dover, NH/ Dover HS), Jose Rodriguez (Spring Valley, NY/ East Ramapo), Jean-Pierre Crespo (San Juan, PR/ Monroe College), and David Hugo (Long Island, NY/ Suffolk C.C.).

Tobin, (pictured above with his mother and father) is a right handed pitcher and corner infielder, arrives at Nyack after a senior season in which he hit .500 with 6 home runs, and a team high 26 runs batted in.  Tobin was also an all-state selection as a junior.

Jose Rodriguez (pictured above with East Ramapo high school coach and athletic director Bill Pilla) will look to provide help behind the plate at the catching position.  Rodriguez led his team this spring with a .436 batting average and is a two-time 1st team all-county and all-league selection.

Jean-Pierre Crespo comes to Nyack from Monroe  College where he red-shirted this past season.  Jean-Pi will join his brother Pierre, who has spent the past two seasons as the Warriors 2nd baseman.  Jean-Pi will compete immediately for time in the outfield.  Crespo was a two-time high school team MVP.

David Hugo comes to Nyack from Suffolk County Community College where he was part of the Longhorns 2009 World Series Team.  Hugo red-shirted this past season and will begin his sophomore season this year at Nyack.  Hugo graduated from Our Savior New American in 2008 and was a two-time all-league selection at pitcher.
