Meet Nyack in Washington DC
Walk-In Wednesdays
Have you ever been to the White House? Every year, hundreds of thousands visit the White House. It is the only home of a nation’s leader that is open free to its citizens on a regular basis. In fact for many years after the White House was first occupied by John and Abigail Adams in 1800, Americans came to White House public receptions as “walkins”— no appointment necessary. They met the president, enjoyed cake and lemonade with the first lady, danced, chatted, and even wandered around a bit. Well customs change with time, but we at Nyack College think that this is one worth bringing back, so we’re introducing “Walk-In Wednesdays” to provide a convenient opportunity for students to meet one-on-one with an admissions counselor at our Capitol Hill campus during a lunch break or after work—no appointment necessary! Every Wednesday, our admissions counselors will be available to talk with you about working toward your educational goals, discuss your interests and needs, and answer your questions. Whether you want to earn a Bachelor or Master’s degree Nyack has something for you. We encourage you to join us on an upcoming Wednesday so that you can learn about and discuss academic options, action steps and requirements needed to successfully apply to the program of your choice. DATE, TIME, and LOCATION:
