Robert Anderson

Mr. Anderson is Manager of Systems Development at Syscom, Inc. He spent several years in managerial and executive positions at CSX Technology prior to joining Syscom. Bob holds an M.A. in Theology from The Ecumenical Institute, and M.B.A. from Loyola College. He teaches in the Bachelor of Science Program. Mr. Anderson also holds an advanced certificate in Biblical Studies from St. Mary's University and is currently working on his Ph.D. in Pauline Theology at the Graduate Theological Foundation.

Dr. Fred W. Beuttler

Dr. Beuttler is a Senior Fellow at Nyack's Institute for Public Service & Policy Development.  He also serves as a lead instructor for the M.S. in Organizational Leadership.  Dr. Beuttler came to Nyack after serving as Deputy Historian in the U.S. House of Representatives.  He is an accomplished scholar.  Beuttler holds an M.A. in History from Trinity International University and a Ph.D. in American History from the University of Chicago, where he also served as Associate University Historian prior to coming to the U.S. Congress.

Dr. Dawn B. Brotherton

Dr. Brotherton has a breadth of experience in education and campus ministry. She has trained and equipped campus leaders through the Coalition for Christian Outreach as well as leading MBA students in a special course in Adventure Education in Business. She holds a doctorate in Human & Organizational Systems from Fielding Graduate University and the focus of her doctoral research was racial inclusion in para-church organizations. Dr. Brotherton teaches for both the Bachelor’s of Science in Organizational Management and the Master’s of Organizational Leadership at the Washington, D.C. campus. 

Christina Bynum

Christina Bynum has served in Christian ministry and non-profit organizations for over 30 years. As a pastor’s wife involved in church planting, ministry development, and leadership training, Christina co-founded the Catherine Foundation Pregnancy Care Center, a non-profit agency serving Southern Maryland since 1983. She received her M.Ed. from Regent University and her B.S from Nyack College where she now serves as a faculty member in the accelerated Bachelor of Science program.

Dr. P. Douglas Chapman
Dr. Chapman brings extensive experience in teaching lifelong learning to Nyack, having held faculty and administrative positions at Valley Forge Christian College, North Central University, Regent University and William Tyndale College.  He holds a Master of Arts degree in Christian Education from Ashland Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Philosophy degree from Michigan State University in Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education.  Dr. Chapman previously served as Director of the Carlson Institute at North Central University and Academic Dean of Central Bible College.

David J. Chappell  

David is an experienced college-level professor and administrator in business and management areas of study. He is currently a senior research analyst working with the Department of Defense. His educational background includes: MBA, Liberty University, B.S., Nyack College, A.A.S., Community College of the Air Force and is a doctorial student in education at Liberty University. David is a primary instructor in the Bachelor of Organizational Management degree program and is a faculty member in Nyack DC’s Master of Organizational Leadership program.

Dr. Manuel A. Cordero

Dr. Cordero is a noted speaker and trainer in the area of crisis counseling and marriage and family issues. Dr. Cordero’s educational background includes: D.Min., Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary, M.Div., Assemblies of God Theological seminary, B.S. in Biblical Studies from Central Bible College. Dr. Cordero serves as Chaplain and Administrative Program Manager for the Bureau of Prisons, Washington DC. He is a faculty member in Nyack DC’s Bachelor of Science of Organizational Management program and the traditional undergraduate program

Terance James Davis

Mr. Davis is a Field Service Trainer and Instructor for R4 Incorporated.  Mr. Davis brings a background in the military and public education to his work. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management, a Master of Science degree in Education and is currently working on his doctorate in Education Administrator Leadership.

James Falcon

James Falcon is a Customer Service Manager at a leading health care company. He has also served as a mentoring/counseling pastor at a Baltimore-area church. He is a graduate of Nyack’s Master’s of Science in Organizational Leadership, holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Morgan State University, and is the recipient of numerous academic honors. He is an instructor for the Bachelor’s program in Organizational Management.

Dr. Karen S. Fenton-LeShore

Dr. Fenton-LeShore is an adjunct professor with the Nyack DC’s Master of Organizational Leadership program. Her professional background includes serving in the Office of Planning, Policy and Program Support for the Child and Family Services Agency in Washington, DC. Her educational background includes: Ph. D. in Organizational Leadership, Regent University, MSSW, Columbia University, BSW, State University of New York.

Dr. Richard L. Gathro

Dr. Gathro is Dean of the Nyack-D.C. campus and Assistant to the President in New York. He has held several leadership positions in higher education and with nonprofit charitable organizations. Dr. Gathro has taught extensively on both the graduate and undergraduate level. He holds an M.T.S. degree from Wesley Theological Seminary, an M.A. degree from Marymount University, and a Doctor of Humane Letters (honoris causa) from Taylor University. His Ed.D was earned from the Graduate Theological Foundation, with all of his residency requirements completed at the University of Oxford.

Ed Green

Ed Green brings over thirty years experience in senior management and executive positions in the U.S. Marine Corps and in the civilian business sector.  His teaching experience includes Leadership Instructor and Leadership Department Head, U.S. Naval Academy.  Ed’s present position is Adjunct Professor, Nyack College, DC Campus in the Master of Science, Organizational Leadership Program.  His education includes a B.S. in Education from West Chester University and an MLS from Johns Hopkins University.  Mr. Green is also an Executive Coach, specializing in leadership development and organization improvement.

George C. Hairston

George Hairston comes to Nyack with an extensive background in leadership development, creation of “high performance team,” business improvement, organizational change and business operation management. Mr. Hairston has served as a consultant with major corporations such as General Electric, JC Penny’s Citibank and JP Morgan. He is Found and Executive Director of Success Warriors, Inc, a Christian non-profit and an educational consulting service firm. His education includes ABD status towards his Ph. D. at George Washington University, M.A. from Creighton University and a B.S. from Howard University. He is the Director of Admissions and Marketing along with serving as a primary faculty member at Nyack DC campus.

Charity Haubrich

Charity Haubrich serves as Assistant to the Dean at Nyack College, D.C. Campus, overseeing the general operations of the campus.  She came to Nyack with 12 years of experience in nonprofit management and campus ministry via the Coalition for Christian Outreach (CCO).  The first six of those years were spent in developing student leaders, the last six she served as an Area Director where she supervised more than 20 staff at a time, developed and maintained community partnerships, and implemented organizational change throughout her area.  Charity holds an MA in Higher Education from Geneva College, with a concentration in Administrative Leadership.

Dr. Jerry S. Herbert

Dr. Herbert is a Visiting Fellow and Faculty Adjunct at Nyack-D.C. He is former Executive Director of the Carolina Study Center and Director of Washington, D.C.'s American Studies Program.  Dr. Herbert holds an M.A. and Ph.D. in Political Science from Duke University.  He teaches in both the graduate and undergraduate program, specializing in ethics and worldview.  In addition, Dr. Herbert is assisting with the development of the Washington Institute for Public Service & Policy Development at Nyack.

Kenneth F. Hoskins

K.F. Hoskins is an executive with 17 years of experience and extensive knowledge in managing complex analytical studies, finance, strategic planning, and directing key initiatives. He is a principal consultant at Fitzgerald & Associates and formerly the vice president of a global commercial real estate advisory firm. He holds a Masters of Business Administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School.

Jacqueline Jiles

Jacqueline Jiles' professional background includes over a decade of experience in the pharmaceutical industry throughout the Northeast region. Her educational background includes: B.S. Business Administration, Morgan State University, MBA, Morgan State University and is a current candidate for her PhD. She is a faculty member in the Bachelor of Organizational Management degree program.

Dr. Patricia R. Johnson

Dr. Johnson provides leadership to the DC campus as Associate Dean and Director of the Masters or Organizational Leadership program. Her professional background includes working as a consultant for the Organization for Economic and Cooperative Development (OECD) in Paris, France; a lawyer and professional staff person on the Select Committee on Hunger in the U.S. House of Representatives, and political appointee at the Agency for International Development. She is an ordained minister, speaker and author. Patricia’s educational background includes: Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Regent University, J.D., Howard University, B.A., Spelman College, B.A. in Theology, Christian Life Seminary of Theology and a Diploma in Advanced International Legal Studies from The McGeorge School of Law, Salzburg Austria campus.

Dr. Frederick M. Keaton

Dr. Keaton is an experienced leader in management development, change management, succession planning, and diversity. He is currently the director of human resources at the Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars and also an adjunct professor of management with the University of Maryland, as well as with Nyack College. Dr. Keaton holds an M.A. in Industrial Management from Central Michigan University, and an Ed.D in Educational Leadership from Western Michigan University.

Sherrie Lawson

Sherrie Lawson was the Academic Resources Coordinator for the Accelerated Degree Completion Program and is now a full-time professor in the Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management program. Her professional background includes 7 years in corporate finance, working for such companies as the former First Union National Bank now Wachovia, Daimler-Chrysler Financial Services and the Fannie Mae Corporation. She received her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and her Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Nyack College. Ms. Lawson is currently working on her Ph.D. on leadership and organizational change within the School of Applied Management and Decision Science at Walden University.

Jennifer Merrill

Jennifer Merrill has served the Nyack College DC campus as Academic Resource Coordinator and adjunct faculty since 2008.  Jennifer provides administrative oversight to the Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management. She also has extensive experience in college administration and campus ministry having worked for the Coalition for Christian Outreach (CCO) for 10 years.  Jennifer holds an M.A. in Higher Education with a concentration in College Administration from Geneva College.

Rev. Jonathan V. Newton

Rev. Jonathan V. Newton is an Attorney-Advisor at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Office of the Administrator.  A former Assistant District Attorney and Congressional Fellow, he is also ordained minister in the African Methodist Episcopal Church where he has served as a Minister to Young Adults.  Rev. Newton is a graduate, cum laude, from the University of Maryland College Park.  He also holds an M.Div from Virginia Union University, and a J.D. from Harvard Law School. 

Kyle Royer

Mr. Royer teaches the "Managerial Accounting and Finance" course for Nyack's Bachelor's of Science in Organizational Management.  He has been Vice President for Finance & Administration for the CCCU for seventeen years, and has worked as an accounting consultant and accounting officer for Riggs National Bank.  Kyle is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at George Mason University.  He serves and has served on a number of nonprofit boards.

Dr. Jo Anne Schneider

Dr. Schneider is an award-winning anthropologist who brings extensive experience in research and non-profit organizational consulting and management to Nyack's faculty.  Highly published, she has been a Congressional Fellow and has taught at the University of Wisconsin, Temple University, George Washington University and the University of Maryland.  Dr. Schneider graduated from Lewis and Clark College with honors and completed her M.A. and Ph.D. at Temple University in Philadelphia.

Jacqueline R. Scott

Jacqueline Scott is Senior Director of Strategic Integration at HDC International and an adjunct professor at Georgetown University Law School. Jacqueline's professional experience includes her previous position as the Co-Director for Georgetown University's Harrison Institute for Public Law. Her experience also includes working in the field of policy development as a senior research and policy associate and as a senior Policy Advisor and Legislative Counsel. Her educational background includes: B.A., J.D. and M.L. from Georgetown University.

Dr. Herma Williams

Dr. Williams holds the appointment of Senior Fellow and brings extensive international leadership experience in higher education to Nyack College-DC.  She most recently served as Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Fresno Pacific University, and held leadership posts and professorates at several other colleges and universities, including Gordon College, George Mason University and Bryn Mawr. Dr. Williams earned her M.S. from Southern Illinois University and her Ph.D. from Iowa State University.  She is the recipient of numerous honors, including an honorary doctorate from Huntington University.  She has been a Fulbright Professor/Scholar at the University of Cape Town and the University of Western Cape South Africa, a Kellogg National Fellow, an American Council of Education Fellow and a Ford Foundation Fellow. 
 

Dervant Wiltshire

Dervant Wiltshire has a strong teaching background and over 19 years experience in information systems technology and quality assurance.  He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Applied Management and Decision Science at Walden University, with specialization in Leadership and Organizational Change.  Dervant has a M.S. degree in Organizational Leadership from Nyack College, Washington, DC and a B.S. degree in Information Systems and Management, University of Maryland.  He is also an adjunct professor at Nyack College for the MSOL and BS program; mainly in research methodology and statistics, economic and marketing management. Dervant has also held several leadership positions in various churches and other non-profit organizations.
