The following is a list of the different career paths Nyack College graduates have pursued because of their education at Nyack College:

Monique finished the program in June of 2007 and says, “The moment I applied to Nyack College I knew that it was truly God-ordained. I never thought that the time would fly by so quickly.  Six weeks after graduation I was promoted to an Executive Meeting Manager position for a Fortune 500 Company making double the salary with bonuses every quarter. The program prepared me for the market place like no other program I knew about. I thank God for Nyack because it allowed me to learn all the fundamentals of what makes a great leader.”

Dannielle is completing her degree work in February of 2011; and was so inspired during the earlier part of her studies at Nyack, that she drafted a business plan in one of our classes.  Dannielle started the program without a job, and now owns her own photography business, is now self-sufficient, and has a back-log of client engagements waiting for her services.

Reny is completing his degree in February of 2011. Reny also developed a business plan thanks to his course work at Nyack, and he has now started his own business in developing computer game software. Reny used the knowledge from the classroom to draft his business plan and already has one investor for $40,000 and a second one for $100,000.

Virginia and Donald published their first books while enrolled in the MSOL program. Irene, a MSOL graduate, has her first book coming out in December 2010.

A few of our students have used the MSOL program to advance their careers in the education field. Joe and Azalia were dating when they enrolled in our MSOL program and got married during the course of the program. They each started out as teachers, and now with their new degree they are both school Principals.

Another student, Robin, started as a high school teacher, enrolled in our MSOL program and after graduating in 2008 is now an elementary school Principal in Virginia.

Emma was a critical care nurse at the Washington Hospital Center, and enrolled in our MSOL program. While still in the program, the hospital promoted her to head nurse, leading 40 other nurses.

A Nyack Student and U.S. Government Printing Office employee was promoted from a GS-13 to a GS-14 because of her new MSOL degree.

Nyack College has a long history of graduating students with a desire to work in church-related ministry.  Bruce, Jerome, Reginald, and St. Clair are just a few, local successful pastors who have enhanced their leadership knowledge and skills in our Nyack College MSOL Program.
