FALL FACULTY READING (8:00PM, October 10, 2011)  

Join students, faculty and staff in President’s Hall in Shuman at this annual English Department event which will feature Dr. Charles Beach, Professor of English and Mick Williams, Head of Reference Services reading selections of their poetry.

6th Undergraduate Conference in Medieval and Early Modern Studies. (All Day, Dec. 3, 2011)
Hosted by Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA, this conference will include a plenary address and numerous panel presentations. As an interdisciplinary conference, papers from art history, English, history, music and other fields will be offered.  We are planning to organize a van trip to this conference.  If you would like to prepare a paper to present at the conference or join the group attending, please contact Dr. Kevin Pinkham.

PROSE and POETRY READING (6:45PM, Dec. 13, 2011)
Students will present their original compositions at our annual Creative Writing reading Monday, December 12th.  As time allows, there will be an open mic. for those who would like to read their  original works.

Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night (8:00PM, February 9, 2012, Pardington Hall)

Nyack College welcomes The Elements Theatre Company of Orleans, MA who will be presenting Shakespeare famous comedy.  “Elements Theatre Co. tours regularly, and have traveled and performed through the Eastern half of the country.  During their 2010 season, they performed Chekhov’s The Cherry Orchard, Tickle’s The Doorway, and Shakespeare’s Own: Vicious or Virtuous?, Scenes from Hamlet and King Lear.
