Audition Guidesheet
| Auditions for Music Scholarships Several Four-Year Scholarships from $1,000 to $8,000 will awarded. To be eligible for consideration, you must be a new student for the Fall 2008 semester. Awards Offered: $8,000 per year $4,000 per year $1,000 per year Preliminary Auditions for the music scholarships will be held in conjunction with your visit to the New York City campus and a personal interview with the Director of the Music Program. Finalists will be invited to participate in the Annual Invitational Music Scholarship Competition. If you live further than 200 miles away, you may send in a video, CD, or audio tape for your preliminary audition. The first step in the audition process is submitting the Music Questionnaire, which is found on the School of Music Web site. Application must be made to the college prior to auditioning for a scholarship. Please refer to the Audition Guidesheet to help you choose appropriate repertoire for your audition. The finals of the Annual Invitational Music Scholarship Competition will be held on May 10, 2008 in New York City.
