NCNYC offers you several different Music courses from which to choose:

• The highly-respected BM Degree requires a lot of competence in music, with good sight-reading skills and the ability to learn a lot of repertoire.  Students desiring a performing career should audition for this program. 
•  The degree, Bachelor of Sacred Music, will help a fine musician prepare to be a minister of music, by giving you the practical skills you need for that wonderful calling. 
• Perhaps a degree in Music Education is for you! At this campus, you will receive the training and experience you need to succeed in teaching music in elementary and secondary schools.
• If you love music but want to explore many other subjects, the Bachelor of Arts Degree with a Major in Music will give you a well-rounded Liberal Arts education with plenty of music and music electives.
• Students with more than one area of special interest may elect an Interdisciplinary program, with a concentration in Music.
• Courses are available in Music Business, Electronic Music, Composition, and other areas of specialization. A Music Minor is also an option.

Which degree program is right for you? We’ll help you determine that through audition and placement. After your acceptance to the college, come and audition! In any of the programs listed above, you’ll have the opportunity to become a competent and confident musician.You’ll integrate your musical knowledge with knowledge about the world in which you live and with deeper knowledge of Christ, who is the Center and Source of wisdom and joy.
