Organizational Management Academic Advising and Support Services
Faculty members of Organizational Management recognize that academic advising is an integral part of a college education. The advising process establishes a collaborative relationship between each currently enrolled student and their Primary Instructor, who is also their Academic Advisor. In the advising process, students develop a customized degree plan that enables them to complete their goal of graduation.

Assisting the Primary Instructor with the advising process is the Director of Learning Assessment (Rockland Campus) and the Learning Assessment Specialist (Manhattan Campus). They oversee the learning essays, professional technical course training, military transcripts, and ACE and PONSI training courses. Also assisting the Primary Instructor is the Coordinator for the Adult Intensive Track (AIT) courses, who likewise gives guidance about the CLEP and DANTES exams. There are additional fees for both the AIT courses, and the CLEP and DANTES exams.

In addition to academic advising, Nyack College provides the following support services for the enrolled student: an online bookstore, writing mentoring services, writing centers at Manhattan & Rockland Campuses, Career Services information, Disabilities Support and even limited transportation to Library and Information Technology Sessions.
