Welcome to the NCMC Writing Center, where we assist all levels of the Nyack/ATS students to revise their papers, and in the process, encourage them to evaluate their own writing. Each student must bring his/her own paper and not that of a friend or spouse. Our Writing Center team comprises of six tutors – three undergraduates and three postgraduates from NCMC/ATS, one adjunct tutor, and director. Computers are available for your use either at the writing center or the computer lab. Our Writing Center web pages provide information on our mission, policy, use, hours of service and available materials. Visit us, and we will assist you as you seek to improve your writing skill.

The mission of the writing center is to offer support facilities that would encourage students to pursue higher education with excellence, to strengthen, enhance, and master their writing skills, to achieve greater success, and therefore foster higher student retention.
